On December 22, 2016 the local planning conference was successfully concluded, for the expansion project and renewal of Bonfiglioli's productive settlement in Calderara di Reno, designed by "Ricerca e Rrogetto - Galassi, Mingozzi e Associati".
According to Daniele Manca (Deputy Mayor of the City of Bologna with delegation to General Territorial Planning (PTG) and Urban Planning) the project which has been approved is an important example of how to combine economic development, expansion of industrial production and respect for the environment.
