He is an expert on building physics and technologies for low energy buildings.
He coordinates a design team working on mechanical installations and environmental building control, both with design simulations and monitoring.
He is professor in the master course "Sustainable Architecture" at the University of Bologna (class of "Design control").
He is active member of different EU and national funded projects on sustainability and energy efficiency and he is author of more than 30 national and international scientific publications and papers on the subject.
