With the aim of creating "social value" through the "revitalization of the public city", the new "civic center" will be realized by redeveloping a disused building in the central square of the town, and will constitute a social and cultural "hub" in which to develop , conceive and share different activities, within a multifunctional "covered square". The study of technical and economic feasibility has been developed to allow the Administration to participate in the Emilia-Romagna Region Call for the "Urban Regeneration 2018", and includes the redevelopment of the existing building and the rehabilitation of the external areas, with projects based on environmental sustainability, improvement of energy efficiency and safety, as well as containment of management costs. The civic center design have been developed as part of a participatory process, and it can act as a driving force of "urban regeneration", oriented to reinforce the community's identity; it will also be the natural conclusion of a path called "walk of the arts", which will be developed with participated methods within the activities of the center.
